ScienceDaily reports most breast cancer surgeons’ practices do not follow standards associated with the best quality of care, according to a study by researchers at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center.  The National Cancer Institute-funded study showed, for example, that 75% to 66% of surgeons did not routinely discuss their treatment plans and collaborate with medical or radiation oncologists.  January 5, 2010
